Before I started this blog I assumed that providing new content each day would be a difficult task to accomplish on an ongoing basis. But with each day that passes I realize that blogging is fun and cathartic. The fun part comes from the process of channeling my thoughts into cohesive sentences. It’s like a free-flowing stream of consciousness that becomes easier to access the more I write.
In order to provide original content I have to turn my thoughts and experiences into opportunities to learn and grow. I seem to get inspired when I’m outdoors enjoying nature. There’s something about the stillness, and the beauty, and the smells that move me to creativity.
Now that the weather is warmer I’ve been staying outdoors for longer periods of time each day. I love to sit by the river at nightfall and watch the sailboats go racing by as the day changes to night and the sky becomes ablaze with colors.
Blogging each day gives me a sense of peace and purpose. But if you’re not into blogging, keeping a journal of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences can accomplish the same goal. The mission is to document your truth so you can look at it, tweak it, and grow with it.
